Gestalt Therapy Group
The Gestalt approach is a powerful tool for personal growth and empowerment and truly shines in group format. In Gestalt Groups, approximately 6-10 individuals meet face-to-face with a trained Gestalt Therapist for the purpose of exploring, celebrating, challenging and embracing each participants full potential in a safe and co-creative environment.
As stated, the purpose of the group is personal growth and empowerment and this will be explored through spontaneous and guided experimentation in the traditional Gestalt Therapy manner. Struggles and triumphs, uncertainty and challenges—the full range of human experience is welcome and will be honored and explored to the fullest. Interaction between group members is highly encouraged and provides each person with an opportunity for learning more, not only about themselves, but how they are in relationship with others.
These groups take place in a safe and private environment in which members work to establish a level of trust that allows them to speak openly and honestly. Group members make a commitment to be as fully present in the group as possible (bringing all of themselves) and a pledge to hold what is shared within the group confidential.
Gestalt Therapy Groups are generally closed, opening up quarterly to admit new members. For more information please contact
