Eco-Therapy
Eco-therapy is a nature-based method of physical and psychological healing pointing to the need to reinvent psychotherapy and psychiatry in service to the both nature and the human-nature relationship. The practice intended to immerse the individual in the patterns and rhythms of wildness both internal and external.
These powerful experiences helps ground the client(s) in their own innate wisdom while anchoring them in the vitality of wildness. As a result both humanity and the larger land base may be served.

Eco-therapy sessions take place in outdoor locations throughout Buncombe and Yancey counties in Western North Carolina. The minimum length for these sessions is 2 hours at a cost of $115.00 (flexibility and sliding scale options are available).
Multi-day overnight immersions in a backcountry environment are possible as well (contact me directly to discuss details). Both psychotherapeutic counseling sessions and more open, transpersonal mentoring can be combined with eco-therapy sessions when desired. Sliding scale rates may be utilized when applicable and can be discussed in person if necessary.
